Hi Warren,

We have booked the Brampton Centre for Sports & Entertainment (see map
on our web) as our location for our Car Control Schools. They have an
excellent facility for the driving exercises.

We run this course rain or shine. Prices include tax.

wtom

I will ask about that for you, SoopaBanana.

S.F.W., I asked them which location the school would be at, will advise once I hear back.

A couple of friends of mine are taking their Track School with the OMSC with Ian Law without Car Control School or Advanced Slalom trainings. Plus, their pricing is $200 flat. Is there any way for us to push the price down on them and skip the Car Control School and go directly to Advanced Slalom?

The max is 25. I\'m more worried about meeting the min. of 15. I would definitely like to participate. Please add me to the list.

Thx.:)

I know what I\'m asking for for my b-day...I\'ll make a decision in a couple of days and post. This is something I\'ve wanted to do for years. damn this just might delay my HIDs!! too many ways to spend money :( :D :( :D :( :D

plus not sure if I\'ll be out of town for work during that time...is it on a weekend? also, how long? I imagine all day but how much driving time?

EDIT: not that I plan on having a confrontation with a pylon...but I gotta ask if they\'re something that will do damage to the car or does it just leave scuff marks that are removable?

Most likely gonna be a Saturday. That\'s all I have an answer for, sorry.

I\'ll say before end of this month (July) or when we hit 25 committed, whichever comes first.

Hmmm... a couple of my friends who do not have a 3 might be interested... Would anyone have problems with non-Mazda3 owners joining this event?

Pylons are pretty harmless, as a regular autoXer it is not uncommon to hit a couple pylons, and if they leave any marks on your car they tend to rub right off!

Good day,

We have a few select openings in our Saturday, September 24th Car Control School in Brampton for your club members. We would like to take this opportunity to offer a special discount for your club members who would love to improve their driving skills.

The regular price is $210, but for this one day, we will offer up a few special places for ONLY $150 per driver. This is on a \"first come, first served\" basis and spots are limited.

Any of your interested club members will have to contact us to register for this special. Please ask them to identify themselves as a club member.

This full day advanced driving school includes classroom sessions, driving exercises with an instructor (skid pad, collision avoidance, slalom and much more), lunch and certificate. The day concludes with a fun autoslalom for the participants to practice all their new driving skills.

Please ask your members to contact us for registration or any questions.

Hi Warren,

There are only about 7 spots left for this date. If they wish to join
us
they should do it ASAP as these spots will fill up fast.

To register: Please mail a cheque ($150) to: Car Control School, 8
Hepworth
Way, Markham, On. L3P 3S9 and include name, club and the date. We will
contact them when their cheque arrives.

They will need to be at the Brampton Centre for Sports & Entertainment
(7575
Kennedy Rd. S. see map on web) for 8 am and the course runs until about
5
pm. We run rain or shine. We supply lunch. To prepare the cars, have a
full
tank of gas, remove any objects that can move around and inflate the
front
tires to about 40-45 psi.

Please contact us if there are any questions.

Thanks

How was it?

iconicrocket

Well, its was OK. for $150.

They just give you some class instructions and set you up on a pylon course. There\'s about 5 excerise that you do. Good way to get to know your car. 3 Things that I came away from the course knowing:

1. Look far ahead
2. Try to be smooth with your steering
3. ABS activates very late, so you got to really mash the pedal to the floor.
