Has anyone ordered off their website before? The prices seem really good and I am interested in picking up a Garage Vary lip. I know there was a GB not to long ago, but I wasn\'t able to get in on it.

How are these guys for service? So far the qoute I got for the lip is 350.00CND to my door. What kind of taxes, duties, extra hidden cost would I be looking at??
So far they seem to be the only place that I can get this lip.. if someone know of any other ways, especially local I would be all for it.

Thanks

Emmanuel

350 seems to be a good price (SHIPPED) since john paid $420 each (http://torontomazda3.com/forum/read.php?TID=3585#48224) then again it didn\'t say anything about taxes/duties

check out this (http://torontomazda3.com/forum/read.php?TID=1979) tread since some other ppl might be interested, at least you can save on shipping.

Yeah we paid $430 with shipping and all. There was no taxes or duties on the item when we paid either. Just shipping.

The Canadian dollar has strenghtened in recent weeks - the current prices should be better for this stuff as our currency continues to build momentum on the world exchange. US goods are cheaper to import - albeit our export business will have challenges.

I don\'t believe that winter will be prudent to install a lip spoiler - I need a snowblower and not a snowplow at this juncture.

The Garage vary is the best one out there at this time IMO, maybe a GB will be successful in attracting greater interest from the hatch crowd after the price drop.

http://www.bankofcanada.ca/en/rates/converter.html

Today\'s rate for conversion of japanese yen to $CDN is 0.0140
= $194.48 for the lip spoiler based on the original post estimate. Shipping, duties and installation/paint would be extra. Anyone?

Of course it sounds good.
But it is still a wack of cash.
I believe you also need a business address.
Rehash this in the GB section... and see where it goes. X-mas is coming :)

$350 is the cost for the shipping ONLY (I just checked). With the lip itself, it amounts to ~$600, and that\'s before factoring in customs fees, and of course, the install.

Whoa!!
I just double checked on that too... My bad. 350.00 didn\'t seem to bad.. but just for shipping, Ill have to pass.

Thanx for the sharp eye.

thats why you do a GB... you split the shipping

~$260 each. Not bad, but I doubt we\'ll find 10 people.

Would that be all in?? What other cost might be on top of that?
That sounds like a really really good price.
I\'d be in. Hell I was ready when I thought it was 350. hehehe

That\'s just for the grill though. I\'m more interested in the grill than the lip, but I don\'t think we\'ll find 10 people for the grill either.

The grill itself isn\'t so bad to ship (w/o a GB) - from what I recall, they cost about $300 with the shipping.

Thats for the grill, NOT the Lip....
And I would also like to point out the original GB... The cost for 10 grilles was 187Y

Good luck trying to get 10 people. It wont happen, trust me. Look how many people were interested the first time, and only the 2 of us bought.

Also they wont ship the grill and lips together so you gotta pay the big shipping seperate on both items. All of this has been posted in that previous thread.

may be 2, just you and me interested for the grill:D . if others find interested and the price is right, I may get it before any other upgrade parts, ie, suspension:p

Hmmm... Grill or the Dell 20\" LCD...

I can see more people willing to participate in this GB on the basis that John\'s order didn\'t have any hidden charges...
