I love how Mazda didn\'t change much for the production model.

Notice the painted calipers and dual exhaust.

Still want that interior (glossy black trim pieces) and that dual exhaust too. I noticed they have a lockout feature for the passenger air bag to the left of the steering wheel. I wonder if that rear badge is available in lieu of the \"Axela\" badge.

Too bad we didn\'t get the dual exhaust, it makes the car look sportier! I also like the grill...

Why would you need to turn it off??

Maybe they were thinking you could save the on switch for the ones you love...and the off for...hehehe:D

Very nice.

The door handles would have looked better if they had been painted.

Small children/people are safer without an airbag. I forget the height/weight recommendations though off the top of my head.

This car was introduced as a concept car in the Geneva Auto Show in 2003.

I don\'t think its being introduced as a model.

This was the original concept of the Mazda 3 and not an upcoming model.

I asked Rosenthal Mazda down in the US about the glossy black trim pieces for their SP23s. The steering wheel\'s trim pieces aren\'t available (by themselves), you\'d have the buy the whole steering wheel...for $400 (can\'t remember, the email is at home). There were two other pieces that they mentioned but their location seemed a little ambiguous (I\'ve always wanted to use that word :D) and they were going for $155, for both pieces.

Anyone else find that that shift knob on the interior pic...a little on the large side?
