Black 2006 Mazda 3 GT w. GFX package. I would have it already but I have to wait for some cheques to clear hold at the bank. I could have asked the bank to clear them, but waiting gave me time to shop around for insurance.

If I hadn\'t had to wait, I probably would have gone with TD at $4200/yr. That was the best quote I got from a half-dozen different places. Then I went to kanetix.ca. They got me $2690 through RBC. Whew, saving $120/mo. Funny because when I got a phone quote from RBC on my own, they quoted $4600!

I hope it\'s a nice day Thursday. I\'m not the best with a manual stick and I wanted to spend most of the day becoming acquainted with the car. Gonna burn some CDs, get a 4-pack of Red Bull & eat drive-thru food all day baby.

:D

Sounds like all that money you saved will be used on gas.

Yeah you\'re right. Maybe I\'ll try not to eat in it unless it\'s absolutely necessary.

Hopefully the weather will hold for you.

According to the weather people it might rain OR snow? 40% chance... but what do they know right?

Bought from Burlington Mazda. I\'m dealing with Jim Fletcher. Pretty straight-up guy. Has been patient with me as OCD compels me to double-check every figure.

Insurance is the biggest GD hassle in the world (for someone who doesn\'t have pets or kids). It\'s a racket I tells ya!

Well, my insurance is set up, the cheques have cleared. The last thing to do is get a certified cheque from the bank and then go to the dealer. Of course it\'s calling for snow tomorrow. Maybe I\'ll have to save the break-in driving until Friday when it\'s supposed to be sunny.

It\'s 3AM and I can\'t get to sleep. :zzz

Apparently I have two at faults on my record within the past six years. The first I was sure had been settled as not-at-fault. I was hit while parked in a parking lot. I have a distinct memory of the conversation with a company rep about it. The second one, from 2003, was definitely my fault. They said the first at fault only pushed my quote up by about $120 so I\'ll just not bother with the hassle of disputing it.

My premiums are high compared to most girls and responsible guys my age, but I feel like I saved money because everyone else was quoting well above $4000.
