Need help guys,
I wanna put my winters on today so I dropped by the CTC automotive
dept. and asked for anit-seize. Nobody knew what it was!! and when
I tried to explain that i wanted to coat my hubs with it so my
steelies wouldn\'t stick come spring. So what they gave me White Grease.

Could I use this stuff? is it safe? my wheels won\'t fall off will they?lol
i\'m such a newb.

Thanks
Ray

P.S.
my CEL came on today for no apparent reason. Car seems to be running
fine, I checked my gas cap and it was on tight. What else could I
check before taking it into the dealer?

CDN Tire Idiots !!! ... it is in the automotive section, near the liquid gasket tubes

It is made by Permatex and come in a small tub with a brush in the lid.

Silver is the base grade, with copper being a higher grade. Both will work well for your applications

White grease will work, but the anti-seize is better ... does not wash away

The grease is ok with steel rims, I use it all the time. But for aluminium rims I would use the anti-seize compound. Aluminium and steel don\'t like each other and tend to bond to each other and trying to get them apart can be hell.

The Rust Check spray also lubricates and prevents seizing.
