Looking for opinions...

Hey everyone,

I am going to be getting my wheels refinished and am stuck. I have a couple options and I am not sure which way to go. The last set posted was just for fun, kinda kewl but more then likely wont happen.

aren\'t those ryan\'s rims?

remember how much you teased him about his? and how we saw the same set like 3 times, including once on a minivan that night we went out to play poker?

(this is in NO way offending him! i\'m DEfending you! :) )

I know the rims are great and all. I even saw them on a blue p5 back in the summer, but do you really want to have a set of rims many people already possess?

however, you could follow ryan\'s trend and get a set for yourself...:hoho his rims are unique, and maybe he\'s started a trend, if so, great! except let\'s hope we don\'t start seeing them literally everywhere!

yah sevsev\'s, also was checking out a set of rotas that had a nice red lip around it. It helps for black on black and even shows the size of the wheel better.

I think you should go with either the gun metal or the bronze,
Either of those two colors will definately accent any black, starto/winning blues.

I think the black rims won\'t do you justice, need to accent your car with some color...

I think the choice of the red lip or the blue rims are a little tacky? Just my opinion, I don\'t think it gives a clean look to the car.

Have you considered white rims? hehe :sarc

I prefer the bronze, second would be the gunmetal. I don\'t like the black rims (with or without the red stripe) because then it looks like your car has winter steelies all year round.

If you have a 5spd. restitch the boot with red stitching if you haven\'t already.

I know this is getting off colored but have you tried black with polished lip? I think that is really cool and would look pretty nice on a dark color car like yours. The color i\'m talking about is like the ones that the rays autoexe have on his car. Check it out you never know until you try :) But nice rims BTW

Yah I was going to do black with a polished lip before I got these wheels but that order was taking too long and cancelled. Mind you I was also gonna go 18s and I changed my mind on that after my suspension.

Going black with a polished lip is way to common and would also cost alot more. Too much work is involved in that. I am quite set between the black w/ lip and bronze, just tough to decide. I tried to photoshop black with a bronze lip but in photoshop it just keeps turning out like black with a brown lip. I think it would look wicked, just having trouble pulling it off in photoshop. Gonna go take another crack at it. :p

It does look brown, but eh!!!
