I have a 05 GT Sport. It comes with P205/50R17 tire. What are my options for winter tire? Please give me an advice, I just got my car 5 days ago!

205/55/16 tires are fit for GT 17\" downsizing, or you can using \"Search\" to find out where, how much and what size our members mostly using. (before any \"whoeveroogle\" helping you:D )

Thanks guys!

So I guess only choice is 205 55 R 16. I\'ve asked 3 Mazdas and 2 said 205 55 R 16, but 1 said 215 55 R 16.
I\'ve asked Cdn tire, 205 55 R 16 is one of their options, but also list 195 55 R 15. I\'ve checked some other forums, many ppl said 15\" rim is too small for Mazda\'s brake caliper as they tend to oversize the caliper ey?

You cannot use 15\".

Use the tire size calculator. (http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html). Conventional wisdom says the difference in sizing should be less than 3 or 4% (plus or minus).

Also check the width of the rim. The tire manufacturing will specify the recommended width for a certain tire size.

my winter tires are 205/55/16.. a good place to buy them is Tires23 in Mississauga.. any tire store would be cheaper than any mazda dealership and canadian tire.. I would call up a couple first.. if you tell us the area you\'re in somebody might be able to suggest or name a few places remotely close by to you..
