Has anybody actually heard of any of these cars being on the streets of Japan?

the \"dress up\" skyline for the 1st pic could be a show car only. but in Japan, they use GT-R, STi, Evo and NSX (not sure for this) for police cars. In Europe, police also use M3/M5, Lambo, etc., too.

The whole skyline thing aside ...
Part of my job is dealing with the lights/roll cages on airport vehicles. When I went to take in one of the pickup trucks to get its rollcages put on i noticed I noticed a Dodge Charger in the shop. This same shop has the contract with Metro/York/Peel region copps and OPP to do all thier vehicles too.
The gentleman at the shop said the police and opp are slowly going to phase out the old crown vics and replace them with dodge Chargers ..
Just thought i share this with the rest of you

Hmmm no more Impala\'s huh?
It\'s weird that they have been using Crown Vics as undercover cop cars for so long... It\'s not like the Crown Vic is sold in Canada... In the states it makes sense, CV\'s are everywhere! The Impala was a good undercover car, because they were available to the general public.
For the record tho, I have seen an OPP Camero back in 2001. It was up north, maybe a bit past Barrie.

A few years back I saw the aftermath of an OPP Camero that was involved in a high speed chase/accient in about a million pieces on the DVP one early sunday morning like 3-4 am. I couldn\'t even tell what the other car was.
