Has anyone picked one of these up yet? It is most likely my next buy; its stupid how the VW/AUDI are half the price of MAZDA ones.

I was interested in purchasing one for a long time. My concern though is how do they connect to the stock stereo? I believe on most systems they use an aux port which we don\'t have, or an FM transmitter that would degrade quality. I also figure that a better option for the cost, is using a hard drive based mp3 player, in combination with an audio link device.
But I am still curious..

Thats like $800 once shipped etc... NOT worth imho. There are alternatives out there that far outweigh this.

I was semi-interested in it until I saw the price......no thanks. You can achieve the same thing (or at least quite similar) for far less $$$ IMO.

i would get a nice ipod video for that much, and work out an aux in mod, or get a deck that has
ipod functionality

You can get a 20GB phatbox (VW/Audi verion) installed in a Mazda 3 for less than $300 (CAN) (Shipping included). Best MP3 solution imho.
