Any word on the proposed size(s) of the decals?

Yah thats something to be decided! But its also a decal that can be split from the name just like people put the name on one line before. We\'ll see what happens...its all about the common locations that people place the decals on.

I think that\'s a fair deal, I\'m willing to help sponsor that. Anyone else with me?

Just a couple of suggestions I have heard from other members:

-Logo size should be fairly small, about the size of a CD.
-Although the logo has changed, people like the plate sticker design, i haven\'t heard anything about that changing, or people wanting that to change.

Updates:
-Polos are in the works. pricing looks to be about $15-20. Also note, the higher quality, the higher the price. a $15 polo (including embroidery) is a little low. For a decent polo, including embroidering, costs about $25.
-Sponsored shirts are also in the works. I will be visiting sponsors shortly, as soon as I recieve an official quote about the cost.

NEW! The plate stickers will soon be replaced by actual plate covers. Keep an eye out in the TM3 Merchandise thread when this get finalized. I have found a supplier which can do the place covers for about the same price as a sticker.

I don\'t think the logo would fit on the plate sticker, so website name only is fine.
But..... I think the website font should be consistant on everything (including plate stickers)

Personally, I\'d rather pay the extra and get something of better quality.
Are we looking at multi-coloured embroidering ? (black, white, silver)

Are you talking about a full clear plastic cover with a painted black frame,
or just the outer edge cover that some dealerships use.
(ie. solid plastic frame with nothing covering the actual plate numbers.)

It is a full plate cover. It will look identical to the my front plate as you see it now (you actually posted a pic of it in the logo change thread)

It will cover the entire plate, no border, just a section at the bottom that will mimic the sticker.

Plate sticker pic (kinda big) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v492/xenons3/2004_1015_172900AA.jpg)

would there be a possibilty for a few different sizes in the stickers?
some smaller and some larger?

Although 100% do-able, the larger quantity of identical (including size) stickers we buy, the cheaper per unit it will be.

It just depends on demand for different sizes and how much of a premium it would cost to do different sizes.

well i guess the price will be the deciding factor there!

a tiny logo on the corner of the headlight would be nice
or a small logo for the hood deflector?

I guess it\'s to late to say this, I know I will get flamed, but are there any other designs!

So i\'ve been away from the board for awhile but i was wonderign if this new logo has a configuration that works well in the rear quarter windows of the 3 sport. The existing decals work great ther but if i angle the text on the new one the graphic is all sideways

I was thinking the same thing...

I can bring some print outs to the official meet in June, and we can see what the logo will look like if it were a decal.

One option that it might be is to sell the text portion and the image portion of the logo separately.

I like that idea.
