since this thursday is going to be too much of a head ache for some to come out i think we should also throw flippy friday this week. also its supposed to be warm.

So lets see some interest.

never heard that rule, as i remember in summer it was done by whoever got to posting first. but if its so and he doesnt want to then i'll just make a stas friday.

Well I wouldn't go as far as taking Friday's from Flippy - that's just plain wrong, and besides - if it became Stas Friday's, no one would go :o (j/k'ing)

Agreed! People goto meets with a expectation Flippy Fridays, Lapaloma and AA thursdays have built a reputation.

I honestly don't think it is right to post meets under the "Original" founders. You can't post up meets and call them your own. People have been doing this recently and should take note.

It's out of respect. I think if anyone wants to start a meet pick another day that originals ones don't fall on. If people want to they will come. End of story.

So basically if you want to hold a meet, don't use the trade mark names[;)] of other meets that are held on the same occurring days. For instance, you could have a frakin fridays, but not a flippy friday, unless you are the man himself! of course, this raises the question, could one hold and flippy Wednedsay? would that be a breach of the aggrement?

I just found it funny, got pretty serious there ;) though I agree, flippy fridays should be held by flippy himself. How about flippin fridays, is flippin close enough to flippy to be in violation of the trademark? :p
