because there are a lot of police giving people tickets for modified cars in Woodbridge these days.

Trust me, a lot of us love the La Paloma location. But the crackdown from the cops lately has a lot of us on the defensive not trying to call attention.

We'll pick something somwhere between etobicoke and woodbridge for the west side meets so you won't have to drive to far!

after hearing that someone got a ticket for superbright license plate light, i talked to a cop (out of curiosity) and apperantly they are illegal (even in white) if the bulb allumination NOT only the plate, so if you got a white glow on the asphalt chasing your car then you can get a ticket...:complain

i think you should be fine with white, if the cop gave you a ticket, you could win in court, hell, just show how much better it illuminates the plate, and try to hide the fact that it lights up the ground!

its dumb... and he actually did say that it is to alluminate the license plate only...but he probably had a bad donut and felt like pissing me off. in any case **** him, it all depends on how one reads the law. there is nothing specific in the law as far as i remember and it says exactly what he said. and i am not taking off the light out of there back to stock...

Hey guys, Effin Itai here! Just want to announce we will start off the official La Paloma meets next week. A bunch of us got together last minute and we left at about 9pm. Anywho, several discussions have come about in regards to the cops hasseling and pulling over cars from other clubs. Do not stress. It is the cars that rev. their engines and burnouts in the parking lots that attract attention. Our club is not like that. I have a 'blue licence plate' light and I am definitely running a risk by keeping it on. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. If your a newbie, please show up and you will see that we are all friendly and not intimidating at all.

Please, I repeat, please do not post any alternate locations 'till we have a consensus of where to change the meets. La Paloma meets are not set in stone, but the location can change if it comes to it. Thanks!
