Yes, GT with Luxury Package. Couldn't rightly walk out of the dealership without maxing out all the options! It's our first new car since '94 so it'll be interesting to have power steering, airbags, etc...

Yeah and the Mazdspeed3 will add an extra 100 hp so you can zip away from all the crazy drivers around you, so you can be safely ahead of them....

Considering we were looking at much more expensive vehicles with a third of the feature set, I doubt she was going to budge for traction control, 100hp & a limited slip diff... I tried, but didn't want to push

No kids & no interest in having 'em (same goes for the wife). But in terms of safety, we did look at the new Volvo C30. Nice car, but for $27k base you sure don't get very much. No heated seats, no leather, no 6 disc, no HID, no sunroof, no nothing.

Considering she'll be using it much more than I, I didn't think the Speed3 would be right for her. Give it a few years and I'll have a toy of my own anyway... As long as she grants me permission. [/joke]
