God damn surveilance cameras in public... that's an invasion of privacy!!!

:loco to the ppl who use that excuse to reject the idea

Without the video, I'm sure the officer woulda gotten a month or few suspension with pay.

she was a tough little cookie though!

however, that doesn't suggest that surveilance cameras in public places are necessary. That was a private location, and they hade a CCTV system or whatever. that is great, as they should, but putting cameras on public streets, parks etc, i am against. why not just track everyone at every moment? we then we can put people at the location of crimes that have been committed. it may be slightly beyond our scope today, but what are you going to say tommorow, when they want to do that!

don't give up personal privacies lightly, they will lead to greater losses in the future!
