amp output on stock head unit

Yes, I'm a noob and yes it's probably been asked before but please be gentle...:)
Is there a low level (RCA ) output on the stock head unit in an 04 GT?
I want to add and amp but use the stock CD player.
I can make a pad that lowers the speaker outs to the amp but I'm hoping there is an adapter available.

You can get a LOC ( Line out convertor) that hook sup to the stock stero speaker wires and turns into a RCA, then you run the RCA's and then hook up a up normally.

Yeah, I am in the same boat as you. I need to put an amp in my car because the stock stereo just isn't doing it!
