$525 plus taxes or $600+taxes installed at the dealer... But I wouldn't get the MS considering 8 out of 10 people have problems with it... ;)

Or get the Magnaflow, new for $440+taxes.

if you don't mind buying from the US/EBay, lots of cheap options. I got my Borla for super value....i've seen tons of Magnaflow new systems for undert $300 USD. Trubendz, i've herd good things too.

You can always go the custom route. I hear that a lot of the times is cheap too. Pick a muffler of your choice.

Does anyone have the trubendz cat back system? I'm liking the kit that comes with the high flow cat.

I've tried to get in touch with them via email to get a quote on cost and shipping in CAN, but haven't got any response?

Do they even ship to Canada?

This is just the thread I was probably gonna start at the end of this summer.

Texas, for you money the best option is to go with a custom exhaust. You can get it built in town by practically any muffler shop to your specs. You can also add the cat, and muffler of your choice.

EDIT: Speed element exhaust here http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=57535.0;topicseen

EDIT2: HKS exhaust on sale for under $500 US http://www.hopupracing.com/hkshiexma3fc.html

check out www.trubendz.com, I'm thinking of going this route as well. You can get one with a high flow cat and all stainless steel. On top of that you can buy a race pipe that is swapable with the high flow cat. Meaning you could interchange the pieces whenever you want. (such as emissions testing time :P)
They have some pics and videos on the site as well. I'm not sure if I'm a big fan of the tip.

I was thinking about the turbendz system, like the idea of a high flow cat.

Unfortunatly, I've been trying to get in touch with them for some time about shipping info...no luck.

I've heard that you have to hassle them about orders to get things going.

Not worth my time...

If your interested in a system with high flow cat, I'm sure you could easily get a custom one put together with the magnaflow high flow cat similar to the trubendz setup. Also, Vibrant offers a very nice system with a high flow cat. I've decided to get the Vibrant.

There is a group buy for the vibrant system right now.. great deal.

what is your engine spec? pretty much stock? not boosted?

if that is the case, i'd stick w/ either 2.25 or 2.5 max...

with resonator with HF Cat..

honestly , the hiflo cat does nothing.

You will feel the power loss in low end more than the supposed gains in high end.

Trust me , I've had the following setups on my car
1)Stock
2) Vibrant w/ hiflo cat
3) Mazdaspeed

I'm confused, why can't you keep the stock cat with their "standard" option?
