Looks like Metra finally released the double-din kit. For $13.50USD, thats not bad at all. (Part number is 95-7504). Just wondering if the texture and color will match.

Im assuming for the '04 & '05 gens, the wires off the JDM kits would just keep the clock function lit for the LCD?

The metra that just came out down not include the clock screen, One is coming out soon though. For now its a DIY kinda thing, you can find instructions on m3f.

Whoa...I'm going to order one (Yeah I'm getting my double din setup sooner then later) and I noticed that one pace is selling it for $38 US and the other for $15...What's the difference between the two?

I'm pretty sure they're the same!

I talked to some guy on m3f he said it doesn't pop out or anything when you hit bumps... and he has it installed.

For $20 shipped you can't go wrong!

I wonder if the Metra kit, just like the Japanese one like Mazdaspeed one is selling..

allow you to keep the Outside temp in the LCD display..

would anyone know if the Metra has a controller like the Japanese one?

I have that exact kit, for my single DIN HU. (It gave me more storage room). It's not bad. The fit is okay, but it isn't perfect. You can tell if you look at it for a second.

They've had the same part number for 2 years now. Maybe they ordered mine from the states, but I don't think they had to.

Hey guys, for those of you who have the Metra double din dash kit installed, are you happy with it? I'm going to install a clarion double din unit, so i'm curios as to how the installation worked out.

thanks!

I personally like mine. The fit isn't 100%, but it's close, and the extra storage space is nice (assuming you don't fill it with something else).
