I am going to do my new brake set up soon. But I am wondering which brake fluid should I go with? Anyone have a clue? Where can i get them? How much I need? And how much are they? Thanks.

I run a Valvoline synthetic DOT4 fluid. Never had an issue.

What's your new brake setup?

About all I can really say is to do some research on what the various types of fluids are for, and then get what suits you best. It will probably be DOT4.

Note that DOT5 is not compatable with a DOT3 system, which is what the Mazda3 uses.

Motomaster (now Prestone Synthetic) DOT 3 for Ford vehicles. Has a 550F dry boiling point for $5.99 (motomaster branded bottles) or $6.99 (for the Prestone yellow bottles) for 500mL at Canadian Tire.

Get 2 bottles to be safe, although one bottle should do.
