New member! '04 Black Mica Sport GT

Hey guys,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Brampton, just picked up an '04 Black Mica Sport GT from Westowne Mazda on Friday the 13th :chuckle I owned a '98 Grand Prix as my last car and modded the hell out of it but it was time for a change. Used to be a moderator on the Ontario GP forum, very glad to be here now!

I don't think I'm going to do many engine mods w/ the 3, just gonna stick to improving the suspension and modding the exterior subtly. So far I've gotten the car tinted (20% tint), got 6000K Prolumens installed by Devin, changed the antenna to the CX-7 Stubby. Hoping to lower it (prokits) and getting the SSG GV front lip replica in the next couple weeks. I've got the Mazda3 eBay aluminum door sills and the Mazdaspeed sidemarker oval accents on order and en route too :)

Been searching and lurking around a lot even before I got the 3, loving the forums so far. I'll have pics up soon hopefully.

Did you white out the trunk key hole??

Nah, I put a key cap on top of it. Every door lock on the car had a "key cap". Here's how it looked on the door handles.

I wanted those (they come with the touring model which I couldnt afford / doesnt come in black) and getting them through dealership for over $100 seems a bit steep...

Let me know when you get them if they install easy and they look good in there, cause I have some money in my paypal account, and ebay is just begging me to spend it :)

in my maxima days, the CSA Gladiator and the Mille Miglia Evo (they look the same except the Evo has a 2-piece look with screw caps at the spoke edges) were quite popular....a few guys in toronto had them, that's how i remembered :)

Thanks! I loved those rims too *sniff* *sniff* The car started falling apart on me and it got too costly to maintain so I sold it and the rims just after I got my 3.

You cutting holes in the side of your car and putting those lights in, or is it just people with a speed3 that are just adding the accent?

HAHAHA, nevermind, I didnt realize that all the cars come with them... totally cant see it on most of the pics on the Mazda web site, and since I dont have my car yet.... yeah....
