I recently picked up an audio aux input module from MyRadioStore.
http://www.myradiostore.com/auxadapters/pie/factory/no-external-changer/maz-pc-alp.html
It's the same principal as the other systems in that it emulates an Alpine CD player.
This one has RCA inputs so you can adapt to any audio source.
It will not allow control of any player, just input.
So you can plug in iPod or sat radio or any other device.
As ususal, installing on a Mazda 3 is dead easy!
The whole job took about 10 minutes without any re-wiring of any kind.
At around $115 USD, this is a good buy and is well worth looking into.
MUCH better than any RF device I have used.
This company ships to Canada via USPS and I didn't pay any extra when picking it up from the post office.

a tad more difficult to use, thought it seems the new one that is coming out has some enhanced features!
