5 Star Shine?

Anyone ever tried this? I was refered to this by a friend. I'm usually pretty skeptical when it comes to these things but it seems to look like it works. Is it just another gimic and a waste of money or could this actually work?

Scam, I think it is made by RONCO. Reminds me of the Liquid Luster infomercial from the 90's.

Theres a guy in my building had this done on his Beretta a couple of years back, he says he just washes it nothing else and its still shiny mind you he dosen't drive the car in the winter and I don't know, the shine looks almost fake, like theres a plastic sheet over the car.....Definitely does not look right.
