Been looking at getting a subwoofer for my hatch and was wondering if anyone has one of these installed.

I've seen that done before but I think the max size you could fit is an 8 inch sub.
Go on cardomain or mazda3forums.

Where do you put your jack after installing that box? :)

I'm a member of the mazda3forum.com too and been reading up on this. Some members says if you flip the spare tire around, you can put the jack in with it.

I wouldn't mind getting one, but that means I have to get rid of my 10" sub and buy/find an 8" locally.

this was going to be one of my projects but due to lack of time and not rrrreeaally feeling like fiberglassing i scrapped it.. and from what i remember back in 05 there was a guy (potentially who's selling it on that site) that did it and put the jack under the spare..

it's definitely a great enclosure for those who do not want to sacrifice the cargo area and would want a little more of a kick..

I was considering doing this as well, but the cost of it adds up. $125USD for the stealthbox, then the cost for the 8" sub and amp, puts it in the $300-$400 range I'm thinking. Instead, I'm looking at the Infinity Basslink, has everything including and I'm hoping it will fit under the passenger seat. Have to do more research on it.

thats is exactly what i want to do, having only an 8" sub isnt really a big deal for me because all i want to do is fill out the bass
