Big question I have tho is....is that your car? Didn't you paint your front and rear bumper plastics to body-match color or was the pic taken a while ago?

Nice mod bro, probably the best one you can start with on the MS3 turbo'd motor. Nice. Lets see some pics of the plumbing!

Lol i figured that much, I wouldn't do something like that until i was getting near warranty expiration anyways.

Although sounds like that SU mount gets the FU from Mazda Canada eh :chuckle?

Interesting. I wonder how much this intercooler will benefit the car. Did you run any baseline dynos yet? You seem to be dropping a bunch of moderate mods, but I don't see any numbers.

This unit is around $1000 US. Currently working on some other FMIC prospects at the moment as well. No additional info though until furthur down the line :)

In your opinion, it the better cooling of the FMIC enough to outweight the benefits of reduced lag from the TMIC?

I can't help but wonder whether a Subaru-style hood scoop to dump more air on that bigger TMIC you have might not be the better solution.

With my upgraded TMIC, after driving, if I pop the hood and touch it, it has always been very cool, almost cold :)

If I go bigger Turbo then maybe I'll consider an FMIC, but at the moment, the flow and cooling gains of my upgraded TMIC are good.

With and FMIC you will always run into increased lag, the question has to be, is the additional cooling offsetting the loss......

Yet to be determined :)

With our powerband I think the upgraded TMIC would suffice, but with tuning we do not know yet.
