HAHAH, I'd be embarassed driving around like that.
That will bother the hell out of me, having something like that front of windshield.

heh. That's not called a CAI. It's called a snorkel, and I assume with that setup that he has a LOT of fun with that truck! :bana

Is that a CAI or submarine scope? :chuckle
Adding a snorkle is a common thing in off-roading.
Pimp my ride did this to a Toyota Land Cruiser.
I've seen that a couple of time now on Jeeps and such.
The best is ATVs when you get 3 snorkels higher than the rider. The air intake, the exhaust and the transmission vent.
Nothing beats treading in water past you knees!!

my uncle has a snorkle on his jeep.... but his isnt gay like that one ^^^
his manufactured for his car, so it actually looks good

Gay? I dunno... when it comes to an offroad toy like this, I think the more hack-job-home-made-built-from-spare-bits looking it is, the better. Those things aren't about looking pretty. They're about fun in the mud!

This is true, but something tells me the owner thinks otherwise

it should be... but at that height, i guess it really doesn't matter. He'll end up driving over the car he's about to rear

The entire truck likely isn't street legal.
I wonder if truck people get hassled the same way tuners do for unsafe vehicles.

Why would they, it is obvious a loud exit is more of a saftey hazard then a truck sitting 5' off of the ground with no front bumper.

Notice a High vent for the exhaust??? A snorkel wouldn't make sense if he didn't have the High vent for the exhaust also...

i guess the exhaust keeps the water out...

thats a wick mudder..... as for the question about them being harassed... not even in the slightest, my buddy has a jacked up ford f-150 4x4, the police always comment on how cool a truck it is.. its kind of frustrating... but its not an import..
