some of you may have rembered an older post of my car when it was schmiked bu an F150. i finally got it back a few weeks ago and now i was able to get a replacement for my broken digi cam so heres some pics.

the shame about the clean after pics is that it rained for less than 5 mins a couple hours after and now it looks like shit again lol.

i know the guys at the body shop o they agreed to put it on for free. i was there when they were fitting it and thats just how it sits. i picked it up off another member here for 50 so i cant really complain. i think ita an oem "replica". it also cants up a bit unlike the stock that more or less follows the roof line. the slight gap on the side suprisingly doesnt bother me that much because of the lines on the car and spoiler kinda lead to things flowing backwards. if the gap went the other way then i would be pissed.

i have to give the body shop that did the work a bit of a plug, it was Notion Autobody(905-427-2665) in pickering

Looks like they did a pretty good job. Although it's hard to tell from the pics if everything is aligned up properly.

all the gaps line up really well. i was really suprised in how well it came out after all that was done. the door and hatch close and latch just like new. the only gap thats a bit off is the top half on the right side of the hatch is a bit larger. the whole corner was replacesd from a corner from a silver 3. it was sectioned from 3/4 way up the rear door jam and then all the way back to 8" down the trunk floor. it also got all new suspension bits in the rear along with a new rim.

There's a bit of irony with the sign in the background of the first picture.

Its hard to tell if the paint matches too , i know that Ti-gry is very hard to match 100% . But otherwise looks like they did a very good job!

lol yeah, the kicker is that i was turing into the driveway nex to the one my car ended up in for the solar tint place .

chinsterr, the colour match came out really good, better than i expected. the metalic laid down to be almost the exact same as the factory. i can only tell in some areas that it is different and only under certain light. Notion has been really good for matching colours from other work i have had done as well as friends cars that have been fixed. what they do there is spray a colour card forst to make sure theres a match once its all dry unlike most places that will just mix and spray.

Looks really good. Did they put the '3' on the trunk door a bit low or is it the camera angle? Small detail!

Mazda Kitten, The repairs were done at Notion Autobody in pickering. Great guys to work with there. One of the sponsors here (John has dealt with them before too)

MattC, i had my winters on at the time of the accident so the after pics are different tiores and rims. allthough the tire came out unscaved. visually the lip of the steelie was bent a bit but was replaced because it was a slight bit wonky from the hit.

b, dont know about that. they may have put it on a slight bit lower but its not something i have notices. definately something that im gonna be looking at when i park near another 3. by the look sof it the top edge of the bottom of the 3 was ligned up with the bottom of "mazda", logically it makes sense since the bottom is extended sligfhtly.

what did you have done?

Rear bumper, which was dented, plus the driver's side front fender scratched & dented after someone opened their door against it!
