Two hot cars!

Love the drop Steven you should pop a lip on that 3 man. Unless it's too low.

Nice pics! You have HID fogs but halogen low-beams?

I think I took some pics of you at BubbaQ.

I'm sorry but the RX-8 rims on your car just finishes it perfectly. Like Joe I too would recommend the GV lip if the drop isn't too much.

yes Xerox, you did take pictures of my car at BubbaQ....the my low beams are prolumens 8000k and my fogs are 10000k, that's why you see that difference.

as for the the lip, it's too low and i will scrap it everywhere....but if i can get a used lip to buy i will :)

Steven....get shocks and your car will sit a little higher like mine. The reason you're that low is because your shocks are sinking. Get some good shocks to hold the sportlines. I'm actually doing pretty well with the lip.

Shocks don't sag and lower the ride height. It's the springs that are holding the car up. I'm not sure what you're getting at here. Can you explain?

Sorry if i'm wrong....Just that i'm riding on sportlines as well with koni's and my car seems ot be higher then his. Thats why i thought his shocks are sinking. Thanks for clearing it up tho.

It's possible that different shocks have slightly different perch heights. They shouldn't, but it wouldn't surprise me.

In the back though, the spring is completely independant of the shock, isn't it? So it shouldn't matter at all there.

Perch heights being the same though, the shock will not affect the ride height. It doesn't stop the spring from sitting wherever it ends up. It simply resists the ability of the spring to rebound (and sometimes bound) so the car doesn't bounce. Thus, if you push down on the car, then different shocks will allow the spring to rebound at different rates... so it will come back up at different speeds... but it will eventually rest at the same height regardless.

BTW Peaarly is right ..

If the shock is strating to die on you, there is going to be more pressure on the spring ... so if there's more pressure on the spring, and the shock is softer, then it will go down = sits lower.

I think thats happenning to my car right now, I'm on H-techs but the front is sagging slowly.

RX-8 rims are sick!
