Hey guys,

Anyone know where I can get those Reflex-style wipers in 12"? These are the type of wipers which do not use springs and hinges.

The smallest size that I've been able to find (from multiple brands) is 16". The problem is that my dad's Mazda 5 needs a 12" for the front.

tnx

Good luck finding a wiper for the rear. It's like the 3 hatch wiper that has a special blade that attaches to the stock arm.

You would have to change the arm to accomodate an aftermarket blade.

That's too bad, because the oem blade sucks donkey balls. Big smelly ones!

I recall buying a 12" reflex esque blade at Walmart a few months ago. Needed it for a friends VW Golf.

I understand that these cannot be used on the Mazda 3 hatch, but my dad is looking to replace the front ones on his Mazda 5, which is very awkward. LOL

What kind of car uses a 12" and 26" (estimating this) wipers?

SFW. and Bubba, I've checked Wal-Mart, Costco, and Canadian Tire. No luck.

Another idea, Lockdown sells Sillblade wipers, maybe they have one, or can get one in sizes for the 5.

FWIW, according to Canadian Tire's website, the Reflex brand wipers are only available in 16" to 28".

The Michelin Radius wiper blades seem very similar to the Reflex (info at Michelin website here (http://michelinwiper.com/index.php)) and comes in a 12" size.

I have seen them sold at WalMart in the US (am in one at least once a month). Unfortunately, I don't know if they are sold in Canada or not (sorry!).

Hope this helps...

Thanks Starwind, that's good information.

I actually purchased the Michelin ones for my Mazda 3's front windshield from Costco for about $12.99 each.

Perhaps somewhere in the US sells these in 12" then. Time to browse eBay.

Most welcome.

If US WalMart is selling them, Sam's Club (Canada) might be (on the premise that they are owned by WalMart), too... may be worthwhile to check Sams Club & Costco...

BTW -- did you like them on the Mazda 3 ?????? (i.e. would you buy them again ? were they good for Winter ? how long did they last ?)

The ones from Walmart are Viewmax wipers. I've had them for a year and they are still like new. They work well in combination with Rain-X.
