So out with the old (ZX-7) and in with the new VTR 1000cc Streetfighter Conversion.

6 months (took our time, father and son project) = One HUGE smile on my face. This bike f'ing rocks. Not done yet, but it's out of the shop and on the road.

dyno maybe once I get the Jet kit in. And thinkin about a K&N filter. But even then, there insn't a bike dyno close by besides Shannonville IIRC.

This is the same engine as the RC-51. Vtwin, there's gobs of low end torque. Dad wants to switch up the sprockets, bloody thing is going to be a wheelie monster. Don't think I'm gonna let him thou.

Plan is to use the stock lower fairing, and make some fiberglass pieces just around the twin cooling rads. They kinda stick out now, maybe paint them black.

Works at, I used to as well. We're friends with the owner. Got to use one of the long term project work benches. Let me tell ya, that's the way to go for doing stuff like that.
