Aftermarket Deck

Hey all,

Well after driving around for a few months with the stock head unit, I think it needs to go. I have my old deck I can throw in there. Can I just pick up a faceplate holder type thingy at Futureshop and a wiring harness I would assume I can get there also right? Is there maybe a better brand name to go with or are they all the same?

Any tips I should be aware of before I try this? I have done these tons of times before so I am sure it will be pretty easy.

I think it's going to look stupid but the stock deck just sucks and I am not ready for a LCD setup just yet

The stock deck isn't that bad. It just needs more power. However, if you want to change toa single din unit, just pick up a dash kit(metra is fairly common), and the wiring harness, and away you go.

Thanks for the link. I barely ever check there and thats a good deal.

I like the look of the stock deck but it's just so much better with an aftermarket deck.
