my new mod - angel eys for cupholder

[Tokyo Drift]

I do not like just putting 2 LED in cupholder so I did this. (I think angel eyes are cooler than just 2 LEDs)
those are intalled today.. I wired them to cig lighter. To wire them, I took off the gear box,
cupholder box and ash tray. It took 2 hrs to finish and I was almost dying in 42 degree celcius,
but I love them!!

it almost mounts perfectly. it's not 100% suitable but 98%.
If you push it down harder, then it fits :)

Although most cups (ice cap, bottles) won't fit inside the rings and not a fan of the idea of having them sit ontop.

But you get all the points for originality and being unique.

water bottles or ice caps just sit on the ring.
and you can see the light brights inside the bottles.
(same as the water bottles with just LEDs)

- does moisture or spilt drinks affect the light / are they at risk of blowing
- is the light from the angel eyes so bright so it bothers the driver?

no. if it does, there's no point with this mod. (losing cupgholder's purpose)

no. I just call it angel eyes. it's not bright as the angel eyes with headlights.
there are only two LEDs for 1 circle.

I think the best way to do this would be to get a piece of clear plastic cut to the size of the cup holders and stick a ring like this underneath it in the cup holder. That way no moister ever gets through (you could even seal it) and no drinks will ever mess up the lights.
