I have quite a few paint chips on the hood that has rust in them. I know that if I leave them there as is, they will develop into bigger and worse rust spots. But should I be panicking? I mean, how long does this process take if I leave them like that until it gets bad? Or should I leave them alone for now and 2 years later, after getting even more chips.....just repaint the whole hood?
I also have a few on the door so I may get them fixed properly now.....they don't have rust in them yet.
Sanding it down and touch them up would work I know....but with that mean small spots....they'll look really ugly with the touch up paint.
