I personally sat on this car that night and it was a thrilling ride. With the years in that car, it will runs smooth and fast.

Now clem....you better change those coilovers.....:)

i find the angel eyes on the beemers arent white enough.
they're more like the colour of regulat halogen bulbs (kinda yellowish).
it doesnt really look good with the stock hid's.
just my honest opinion.

and i really like the lines on this car.
like, how the front bumper is parallel with the ground.

I thought the place was the ATI building near Hwy 7 and Leslie. It looks kind of like that near the parking lot entrance.

Anyway....nice pics. How much was the Sigma 10-20? I want one for for my Nikon. I am just worried about compatibility issues when I upgrade to a D300 in 3 years.

100% original apart from the trunklid. The previous owner had the trunklid repainted, and I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the paint when I picked it up so I had it redone at European Autobody. It's every bit as good as the OEM paint now. It just turned 110k...not bad for a '97.

The only interior shot I have is rather dark...

I picked it up a while ago so I don't really remember the exact price, but it was somewhere in the region of $500. Too bad you have a Nikon - otherwise I would recommend the Canon 10-22 over the Sigma. The thing with the Sigma is that the A/F system is hit or miss sometimes, and the glass isn't nearly as sharp as a comparable Canon lens. 85% of the time it comes out great - but sometimes the results are less than satisfactory.

Dark so I can't see much but the M style rear view mirror is nice.

And man do I need a wide angle lens.

Yup. CDA-9887 w/ full speed iPod connection. My favorite thing about it is how the amber backlight matches the factory lighting perfectly (stock BMW unit was also Alpine). That was my most important criteria when picking a HU - mismatched lights look like crap IMO.

why take them down??? alot of us own other cars as well and show them off as well as our 3. Besides its not restricted to 3 owners only its an open forum!!

The car is very nice looking loving that colour!!

Why take it down, he's one of the originals on this board and I think he's earned the right to stick around after he's moved on from the 3 to his BMW, so no, I don't believe think anything will be happening ASAP.

If you've noticed his post count, and join date he's been on this forum since the beginning. He originally had a very hot Mazda3.
