Does anyone have pics with the dash strip and other interior trim pieces painted gold, like with VHT gold caliper paint or some kinda Krylon Fusion? Not like metallic shiny gold, but more like a flat satin gold.

I've seen pics with red and blue pieces, but I was thinking of going gold on the dash and door trim pieces, and on the engine, battery and fuse covers. And maybe my calipers.

I like the idea of the gold caliper colour. I did mine with the Gold VHT from Canadian Tire.

Kryon Fusion...not a fan. Don't work to hot. Caliper paint....could go well.

I went to CT for the past two days during my lunch break and both times I just stared at the VHT paint on the shelf for about 30 mins. Just can't decide whether to do it or not. Plus now isn't the best of weather.

Anyone know if I could do all covers and trim pieces with one can? I haven't decided on a design for the engine cover, but the battery and fuse covers will be all gold.

You did a great job on all the trim pieces. My car is black, so matching the trim pieces to the body colour wouldn't really have the same effect.

Actually Black Mica in the car looks wicked, just ask Effin Itai and Hypothrml. They both have the same look I had and it's awesome. Even Sicsol has a Black Mica dash strip now!
