My name is Dave. Just bought my 2007 Mazdaspeed3 on Dec 15th. So far quite happy with the purchase. My previous car was a 1998 Acura 1.6 EL
I was on ClubEL.ca and checked to see if there were any mazda3 clubs and I stumbled on to here and mazda3forums.

Hope to have a great experience with Mazda.

No offense, but wow that 1st wing you put on the EL. lol speechless.
The muffler is ricey too :chuckle

Other than that, I liked the wheels and the blacked out headlights

i only had the carbon fibre trunk and carbon fibre spoiler on my car for a week or so. it was my buddies. first carbon fibre trunk for the EL in Canada. So even though it wasn't my style it was different. trust me picnic table isn't my cup of tea.

the exhaust? meh not as ricey as some others i've seen. last exhaust i had on it was a skunk2 full catback too damn loud though.
just out of curiosity would performance exhaust isn't ricey looking?

Well there are some aftermarket exhausts that aren't as "eye catching" and look more stock.

however, I made the comment about your exhaust becuase from the picture it looked rusted and worn out. I'm not sure if its the picture quality but I reminded me of hte $20 pacific mall mufflers. I'm sure the skunk2 didn't look like that?

yeah the exhaust always got dirty... wasn't an expensive one. the skunk2 def. looked a lot nicer

To me it ain't ricey. To be honest 'to each their own'... as long as you enjoy your ride, who cares what other people think.
