Shoot me for trying to look like a Mazdaspeed 3, but the exterior is just so nice! I'm just wondering if it's possible to replace the 3 sport's hood + front bumper with the ones on the MPS.

Ms3*

yes i am a big noob... =.= somebody tell me how to edit a post as well

I don't see why you can't change the bumper, hood, and possibly fenders to get the Mazdaspeed look... Afterall, isn't the mazdaspeed3 just a modified Mazda3 sport?

Do it and let me know how it goes. :)

I agree, though changing the fenders would be a bit of a mess. Just hood and bumper would be easier. I also would like to know the reason why you can't change the bumper hood (and if necessary fenders) to look mazdaspeed.
I'll do it if you do it first XD. I need to know if it is possible before actually doing it (nice angel eyes btw)

I only mention the fenders because they are different from the Sport. However, from the pictures, they seem to line-up exactly the same.

You may be able to get away with just changing the bumper and hood. I haven't seen any mention of it being done on any of the forums. Maybe you can become really good friends with a Mazdaspeed owner who'll let you try.

its diff front end between ms3 and 3, ms3's front end more like sedans yet taller and theres no nozzols on it. no things impossiable, but at least you need a hood and bumper from a ms3 tho.

there is a much simpler way to get the mps body kit, along with the performance adding goodies you might be interested in. I have made a qucik DIY which due to its quality and in depth explainations is most likely to get sticked for a very long time.

1) Remove all personal belongings from your car
2) Drive to your local Mazda dealership
2) Trade in your car
2) Buy an MPS
2) Get insurance on the new car
2) Enjoy your new hood along with extra goodies.

Install time if an ms3 is in stock: 3-5 hours

It's very possible.

-Rad support
-Fenders
-Hood (relocation of washer nozzles)
-Bumper (with associated hardware)

If your really interested let me know and we'll work out a price.

or

Purchase the original MS front bumper made for the regular 3 and save some money. In my opinion much hotter than the MS3 front end.

I thought so, thanks for the help and the offer but it's just something I've been wondering for a while now (and the car isn't mine, it's my dad's lol, which is also why I can't do what unoriginal username said, because if it were up to me, I would have gotten the $28,000 07 MS3 model that was available when I got mine).

im asking about just the front bumper, if this style of front bumper has a sedan version. i know the MS front bumper wont fit. sry flipdaddy but i really like this bumper and i just wanta double make sure we were talking bout the same thing. cuz i swear i thought i saw another mazda 3 in kitchener with this bumper on it or something very similar and it was a sedan. so if there is a sedan one but slightly different would you know the name of it? thx again.

I wonder how much work it is to change the Sedan front end into a Hatch.

it must be just as hard as putting the jetta front end on a golf so a couple a screws to take it off, bumper, hood, fenders, headlights, grill, and paint lol very easy but could cost a bit of dough

but if ur gonna change to a hatch front end why no change to the speed3 front for prob just as much

as pointed out by tokic_o, if anybody is wondering, somebody is actually doing it in the US (you have to scroll kinda far down before there's mention of it)
