Would a Hks exhaust fit a 2.3 08 GT sedan?

i have read in the us posts that the hks fits without any extension to the pipes. im wondering would it fit on the 08 GT sedan without extending the tip?

I've seen at least 3 sedans come into the shop at work with HKS systems. Looked fine to me didn't notice any modifications to the piping.

from what i hear it can either melt your bumper or slightly discolor it? im not sure how bad it is but i have this exhaust too and im debating if i should get it extended like this:

you can see the difference with it extended it'll fit really flush with it but in the first pic it doesnt even look that bad
