Who all is running regular copper core plugs in there 3? I just installed Autolite 104 plugs last night.
Why? Copper is a better conductor than platinum or iridium.
Then why do they make platinum/iridium plugs? They last longer, so you don't have to change them as often. This is good for vehicles with hard to get at plugs - the 2001 Xterra I had, the sixth plug is rediculus to get to. But with the 3, they are so easy to change, I plan on changing them more often, only $15 each time.
Too bad you MS3 guys can't find a copper plug. Turbo engines don't like fancy plugs - the plating starts cracking. I had a Merkur XR4Ti and I was running 18psi boost, and would only run properly on regular copper plugs.
