Nice ride! What rims are those?

Thanks guys!
The rims are Enkei ZR1's - they are a couple of years old, picked them up (along with my CPE CAI) in the winter from a guy who had to sell his MS3 - FINALLY got the rims put on, calipers painted red, and getting the short shifter and CAI installed next week. I love the rims - alreayd had a couple of people stop me to ask what they were. Hope to make it out to some meets and track days this summer..

As for tints - good question! I kind of forgot - fronts are about 40%, rear is 20%. They did a GREAT job on it (Eclipse Tint).

New soles for the shoes Potenza RE760 sports - 235/40/18 on 8" wide rims. Much nicer fit than the 225's.

Just had the rear fenders rolled at GTek so far no more rubbing.

Yeah it did crack - there were some cracks from previous damage. They didn't like how much it cracked so they took it to the body shop for me and had it touched up and finished. (The yellow/brown gunk on the inside of the wheel well is some putty/wax to help protect it while the paint and finish cure properly). GTek specializes in Porsches, and they said my car was the first Mazda they rolled - the Porsche paint is a lot softer and typically doesn't crack like my car did. On the short trip home, no rubbing so far. (BTW I'm running with a +40 offset)

I was thinking about putting a strip of 3M or something on the inner lip to maybe help prevent any rust and more chips...

(There's a lot of "cracks" in this post!) :)

My son (6yrs) is really excited - has nicknamed it red-rocket already (the speed 3 was known as whitey!).
My 3 year old daughter on the other hand still cries about it. At first she loved the Speed 3, then she hated it because it was too loud. Then I accelerated REAL good on an on-ramp one day and she was cackling and loving it - she fell in love with the car right then and there!
Will have to do the same with her in the V70R when I get it to win her over.
She is going to be the gear-head in the family I think.

I love the shifter, the throws are very close and buttery smooth!

I'm in north York, round corner from SoS.

There are only a handful of red V70R. Pretty sure I know the one you saw, he is on Swedespeed on occasion and is in Guelph/Kitchener area.

Got it from a dealer in Calgary. Car came off lease. The car is overall great. Most comfortable car I've been in.
Has a list of common problems that can occur. For me most recent was angle gear (awd) failure. Aftermarket warranty covered the $3 grand + repair luckily.
They are not cheap to maintain but relatively easy to work on.
