I got a quote the other day from a Mazda dealer for some accessories they look like this

Mazda Springs = $499 parts + $261 labour = $760
Led Side mirrors = $174 parts + $363 labour = $537
Sway Bars = $420 parts + $261 labour = $681

And these prices are excluding taxes!! I was wondering if anyone has gotten any good deals on parts? If so what dealerships were they?

I'm not sure if this is the mazdaspeed one. Your price and this price is so different.:whoa

This is the price from the "mazda accesssories" (non-mazdaspeed) catalogue, but once again, different prices.

Maybe I am looking up the wrong thing.....:loco

how come led side mirrors' labor is more than the others?
typo?

not a typo unless the dealer made a mistake in thew quote and quoted me the price of the mirrors as labour

Has to be a typo. Here's the quote right from Mazda price list that they send to the dealers.

Mirror Garnish with LED turn signal - $363.00 (labour price will depend on the dealership averagetime to install 1.5-2 hrs.)

I don't see why they would sell the part for less then their cost. Unless it's an aftermarket part.

You can Get springs From about 150-250 for aftermarket
For Mazdaspeed springs go to Joe @ MOT he'l give u 15% off
and then install @ Jimmy @ street peformance for 100$
Sway bars are going for 100-200$ish on our buy/sale and then install @ Jimmys again

If I install it at a private shop would my suspension still be covered by warranty?

If you damage something during the install then no. Other than that you're okay.

original post... what rediculous prices... getting high quality non-mazda aftermarket (like eibach) you can get all that installed for under 900 bucks...

... asking 2000$ for those parts and the install is rediculous... for that u can get some NICE coilovers.. INSTALLED.

Yeah but keep in mind dealers aren't like independant shops that can charge whatever they want to install these parts. We go by what Mazda Canada recommends to install them. Plus labor rates are much higher at the dealer than let's say Joe's garage.

I wasn't putting the dealers down if the work order says 5hour install.. e ven if it takes then 2, the fee is still 5 hours... not there fault its the nature of the business. Just saying for 2000$, your money could go way further.

Oh yeah I know that. I would get my springs done at Jimmy's or Speedtech since I know the dealer would charge between 1 - 1 1/2 hr to do the drop.
