Good question, I have no clue. You would probably have to remove it before covering the car. Otherwise it would look like your car is happy to see you.:chuckle

+1

I was thinking this would be perfect for those who park under a tree like myself and get that nasty sap on the car.

Consider though, if you actually had that. Where would you put it when you took it off? How would you put it on when your car was dirty? A cover should only be put on a clean car. Then... as birds crapped on it and it got covered in tree sap, how dirty would you get every time you tried to take it off or put it back on, and would you really want to deal with that?

What you need is a Batmobile-style retractable shield system. :bana

Car covers are mostly for long-term storage. As stated by wild weasel, you don't want to be throwing on a car cover on a dirty ride.

The daily use thing is also a PITA, I tried it a couple years back, and you'll need two people to be able to work with a cover, so it doesn't hit the ground and pick up dust dirt and once it's off, you have to put it somewhere dust-free (again) so it doesn't pick up the elements and then scratch the car on re-application.

IMO, a car cover is not recommended for daily use.

the cover appears to be on the sport model, is there one for the sedan? or is it universal, both models?
