hey guys,

With the tax return im getting i may look into a new exhuast. I was leaning towards Magnaflow and HKS (more towards HKS). I had a few questions i couldnt find while using the search. I know they dont make it for the size of the sedan but is there a downside extending the exhuast out a couple inches? If i dont extend it will the heat coming out the back melt the plastic on my bumper? and where are some good places to buy/install exhuasts?

PM the sponcers for prices, they can hook you up no problem.
As long as it fits right, they both should, you won't get melting unless it touches the plastic. I bet MGM will be here momentarily to aid us with that subject.

Disadvantage to extending the exhaust? Other than a lighter wallet, I don't think so. :chuckle Most people have extended it though.

i wo'nt suggest getting the HKS with the heat from the cops nowadays. It requires you to take out your 2nd cat and cops wo'nt like that. So my advice is stick with magnaflow or something that does not require you to take out yoru stock cat.

HKS does not sound like a rice car and its one of the best sounding exhaust i've heard on the 3.

just my input ive always used Magnaflow and i liked it. are u thinking bout putting it under then just run a tip or r u putting the whole can at the end? im running with no resonator so its louder on mine compared with a resonator. and i replaced it with bigger pipes all through out
