so there is not a meet this week at la paloma cuz i think we are doing it every other wednesday
but i will be there so if anyone wants to come out to the unofficial la paloma meet
just a quick reminder to watch your speed around this area as there are cops around but they wont bug u unless ur speeding

well how about every other week, when there arent any Paloma's we do it at Caledonia.... if we have to drive far out to Paloma's I think its fair we do caledonia meets too...lol :chuckle

well how about every other week, when there arent any Paloma's we do it at Caledonia.... if we have to drive far out to Paloma's I think its fair we do caledonia meets too...lol :chuckle

But shouldn't this week be the 'Official' meet as next week is the AA Thursday meet??, ...not forgetting any other meets here, but these two meets seem to draw the most people!....it only makes sense not to conflict the two!
I also like Falicia's idea of on alternate weeks having the LaPaloma meet at Caledonia Timmies, for several reasons, but mostly because I for one like that spot...:chuckle

Has anyone paid attention to the poll thread?! Just curious, because I don't think we have. It closes on May 23. That means there is plenty of time for people to vote if they like the idea. This means that La Paloma will be weekly until then. If people vote weekly, then by golly, it goes weekly. LOL! If it's bi-weekly then so be it. Nothing has been set in stone as of yet. Whitespeed3, thanks for posting this week, I didn't have the chance to get to the computer fast enough to post. Not being sarcastic either. LOL! The Caledonia Tims isn't a bad meeting place however, I get nervous stepping out of the car in that Tims lot. It feels like people are watching your every move as you approach the doors of Tims. I don't know, maybe I give off a bad odour or something LOL! Peace.

La Paloma - Highway 7 & Nova Star, It's just the next light over, There's a plaza with Toys R US and a Kelseys I think, I'm pretty sure I passed by a beer store before because that caught my attention when I first found the place... lol It would be on your right hand side coming off of highway 7.

The location of the meet is right in front of the dealerships whhich include BMW, Porsche.... I Take the 400 exit on Highway 7 and then make a left to the street where the meeet happens totally forget the street i turn left on lol

I'm located at Major Mac and Woodbine, how long would you say the ride would be? I would like to attend but I don't really feel like missioning it all the way there if its too far.

Im Not Amazing with visualizing locations..... im located in mississauaga Heartland area i take 401 then 400 and then reach in about 25minutes to the meet..... if you dont want to be driving too much i say leave around 7:30 ish so the highways are nice and easy to drive through .... but cant help with you estimating time is major mak and woodbine where the woodbine horse tracks are?

no no... okay.. let me say a location that is more well known... How long from Commerce Gate to La Paloma? Commerce is located at Highway 7 and Leslie.

from leslie and 7 where commerce is besid your lookin at half hour drive thru hwy 7, leave after rush hour though.

There is no rush hour at that time and it only takes 15 mins. tops, to get to La Paloma at 7:30pm at night. If you drive 40km/hr then your lookin' at a half hour drive.

Sorry, I don't think I'm gonna go back to Caledonia. You look at a person the wrong way and it starts from there. It is a young crowd there and it's just a bunch of kids just waiting to 'cause something. I've seen stuff happen before at Tim's lots' like these and they weren't pretty. That place is an accident waiting to happen. Some of you may not agree with me on this. I'm not trying to paint a bad picture, just describing the vibe I feel when I go there, that's all.
