Do you have halogens or OEM HIDs?

The aligning process is slightly different for each.

yeah there is a nut beside projector, you need to use cross-head screwdriver, or you can do a flat head, which is easiest and adjusted it on top of the nut.
I dont think oem HIDs can manually be adjusted, because you got this cap in the back with warning sign..

OEM HID's can be manually adjusted. I raised mine up so that regular driving is #1 on the interior switch adjustment, that way I can flick up to #0 for backroad driving, HID brightness all over.

There is a small white adjuster screw at the back of the headlight next to the projector, you can use a 5or6mm allen key or a phillips screwdriver to adjust the level. Be sure that your OEM HID interior switch is adjusted to height #0 when adjusting using the screw, or else the headlight will try to compensate for itself (I found this happened when in any other setting than #0, I would turn the screw and the projector would make its leveling motor movement noise and compensate for what I just did).

This is great information. I'm going to do this.
Yet another mod I'm "stealing" from Videcak! :chuckle

Bringing this back up...

Kay, so I've been looking around and the space is pretty cramped, but I still can't find where I am able to adjust the level of my projectors (halogens). Can someone maybe explain it to me with a picture or something? :(

Right behind the projector housing there is an offwhite colored knob that turns a small offwhite colored gear. The knob can be turned using a philips screwdriver or a 6mm allen key. Its the only offwhite colored knob thing behind the projector easily visible, there is one other, but its barely visible and is used for side to side movement...

I snapped some pictures of what I think is the off-white object.

If that is the thing you guys are talking about, I can't adjust it. It's only a cap. Do I need to take that off and adjust what's behind it?

The white cap is the ring that you're suppose to turn. Use a screwdriver with a big Philips head to turn it.

Thats the wrong one, that is for side/side movement, the one you want is on the other side of the projector, there will clearly be a philips screwdriver slot visible from the top... I'll take pics later tonight if need be...

This is a pic of the driver headlight, then one pic of a closeup of the adjusting screw/knob...

I have an 2005 GT, does it have a headlight adjustment like in the picture? I just changed the low beam headlight and don't remember seeing any white wheel, of course I wasn't looking for it.
I have halogen lights.
Thanks

i think the white wheel is just a cap, the adjuster under it should have a bunch of teeth on it. i forgot what direction to turn to aim the light up/down left/right. could someone add this, i could use that info =]

This adjusts the low beams?
