If I painted my intercooler black, would it hurt it in any way? Meaning, not be as affective for cooling, etc.?

I think the long story short is that paint vs. powdercoating shouldn't have a negative effect on performance

powdercoat is much thicker than paint which therefore would have an effect on cooling. paint on the other hand is a very thin substance if applied right and should have no adverse effect on cooling
