I felt like cleaning up all three of my rides, so I did, and took pictures of course. The white one with 4 wheels carries the bikes; the polished one is fast on dirt, and the yellow one is fast on pavements or on dirt when it's wearing knobby tires :bana2

So who else is into cycling? Post your rides here too if you want :)

Here's my pic from the Ride for Heart.

This is my bike. Nothing terribly special, but I like it and it's served me well.

sorry to butt in but I think they come in that finish.... nice and shiny eh? rwatt, you ride hard? me I try to... but usually on the first time I go to the trails each year I start off scared and not do some crazy stuff yet. i've fallen to many times, not to mention being thrown 10-15 ft from my bike :chuckle

I wish I had pix, but I've got an Ironhorse Raider XC MTB and a Peugeot Road bike. The best part about the Peogeot is that its got a Shimano BIOPACE (YEA THATS RIGHT) crank set!

Yes, it comes ball-burnished from the factory. Saves weight I suppose, and looks sweet too. I race XC mountain bikes, and I'm going to try out a cyclocross race or two this fall. I'd likely get my ass handed to me in a road race though.
I've crashed several times too...it comes with the sport. :) I'm recovering from a bruised rib due to a crash on a sidewalk, but I still did a race.

Looks like everyone else has some nice rides too. The BMX is sweet...I could never work up the nerve to do jumps and such.

Neither could I....

I was a roadie for a long time and p/u the mtn bike as an alternative. Sold the road bike a few yrs ago and now I'm missing it. I'll prb get another one day.

thats awesome man.

I'm a mtber (posted my bike above).. so I guess, my progress has been a bit slower, and at one point I kinda just stopped riding.. maybe I"ll start again in a bit, though I'm still pretty bad haha.

You got it. They're visibly oval. It works well on the down stroke, you can feel how it give a little bit of a boost but its killer on the legs. The fact that its not a constant range of motion is just akward. A lot of people had problems because of it hence why it was discontinued. I just can't justify getting a new crank. :chuckle

Mainly because of Shimano's recall on those chainrings due to lawsuits over knee problems...

i forget whos bike it was on but one of the leaders in the TDF a few years ago had some version of biopace rings on his TT bike. It was a custom design just for him; IIRC it was done by FSA.

I've been ridign for abotu 10 years now haha my progress has been pretty steady. Luckily I don't see myself slowing down too much anytime soon. However the new kids are getting better way fast.

haah long time man haha. . Think I'm gonan find a new frame this summer, i've ridden some mtb's that feel very close to bmx. I ride with all bmxers, I just can't switch over, because my wrists are kinda whacked, i need the small travel... at least you tried that into a foam pit :P. (or..at least i think you did)

Dave_The_BMXER

That particular one is onto resi, not foam, I actually do them worse into foam.

I can do them for real also, just not quiet as high.

ahha awesome man. Maybe in the summer I could get my butt to Brampton(?), and go for a street ride or something... though, I'm kinda maxed out at a 360 tiretap on my current ride...LOL.

My last roadie bike was a 60 but then I'm 6'4...
I'm thinking of getting another road bike since I sold mine a few yrs ago. A good time to look now since most shops are trying to clear out the 08's.
