Scrolling music title?

So I got my 08.5 M3, conveniently comes with an MP3 deck, but the display screen does't seem to scroll the information on the horizontal dash. Does anyone know if this is something that needs to be turned ON or if it is even possible. Thanks.

The knob on your right, the one that you can change bass, treble with...Just turn it and the titles will display as you turn.

why didn't they have this deck come with an option to scroll the text automatically?

I thought it would have, was looking for that feature but couldn't find it, so I came here to ask all the experts. Auto scroll would be nice, but this will do. Now I just have to figure out how to set the mp3 file info so the deck can read it and display it!

Right click the MP3 file...go to properties....select the Summary tab....click on the Advance>> button and enter the info...that's where the info for the file will be read by the deck

I would like to know that too. When I had a Tribute for a loaner car while mine was being "fixed", even their LCD display showed everything.

Anyone know if this feature is on a 2010 model? I couldn't find it in the bible that someone left in my glovebox.

same here. i really don't think scrolling titles exist. its sort of annoying, but eh.
