power windows..

my car never came with power windows but is there a possibility that i could add it?

Or a use a hammer... works once, at least!

If you do want to install them, you'd need the door panels, motors, power regulator mechanism.... you might get lucky and get them off of a wrecked car. Not sure if any of the wiring is in place... main harness maybe, door harness, I doubt it.

so i see the kit is $350 but is it gonna be more for the door stuff that holds the equipment?

i don't think they do..i was looking at the kits and they all came with the switches and wiring so i guess they don't come pre-wired:bang

Hey Man,
you are lucky i found this thread haha. I have done the complete power window and mirror conversion on my gx aswell and it was not cheap. It is doable and everything is prewired here is a link to everything you need to get the kit working in your car.
