Just copy and pasting from TOprotege :p But it was nice to see TM3 out in force today! Very coool!
Awsome Awsome day today :) Everything held off, it was windy... but not as cold as last year.
The day started off at Eastside where a bunch of us met up to head to the official starting point (AMC whitby) together. There were quite a few other clubs that met in the same lot as us as well, which was nice. As we got to AMC, we got a chance to see the 200+ other cars that were already there preparing for the cruise. Waivers were signed and about an hour and half since our arrival, it was finally our turn to take off.
30mins into the cruise, we made this simple turn... and spotted this integra, FULLY in the ditch... you could only see taillights and side of the car. With many cars stopped to help, we continued on. The cruise was awsome, getting lost a few times and having to make u-turns. The colors and the people around the area were awsome as well. Some kids came to the end of their driveways to wave at all the cars going by, other horse riders checking out all the modded cars. ProooO.
At the end of the cruise, it ended at the Kawthra Speedway. Where this year, you are able to take your car on the track. Weesh and Spyder broke the ice by taking their Proteges onto the track first, Spyder01 ofcourse :p... beating weesh by 2 seconds. (hahahahaha). Afterwards, weesh went onto the track again and Jazer and Grambo followed. Sedans FTW :). However, during Jazer's run, he had trouble with his engine and later found out it was a spun bearing.(Keep us updated on what happend with the car Jazer!)
After the track event, everybody headed over to Bosten Pizza for a late late lunch which was awsome. The waitress was hot... the Food was nice... awsome awsome day!

AMAZING time
the last portion of the cruise was soo twisty, what a workout for the clutch foot...
can't wait to see the mosport picture that dave took, friggen amazing day!!

fking AMAZING time. The cruise there was so fun, all those twists and turns. Driving in a group really got me in the spirit. Definitely doing it again next year. I have to learn how to work my dad's cam and i'll get hte vids uploaded once i learn how

Was great fun. Will likely do it again next year. Hopefully if work doesn't kill me, I'll get the videos and pictures I took uploaded later this week. I need a passenger next year to work the camera XD
Had an awesome time there. Such an amazing experience. I will definately doing it again next year. :)

im definitly down next year. the cruise was such an awesome time, i enjoyed it soo much.
The track was so much fun, to bad there were walls :p hehehe
The cruise itself was great, although I did prefer last years route. The best part of this year had to be county Rd10 that was such a nice curvy rd and it was LONG! Bubba and I took it on the way back in the light rain. It was such a great drive.
I personally like Spyder's pic of the three of our cars lined up for the track, each on of us has a nextmod sticker on the side :p
I wouldn't mind knowing how much MADD raised, the $2 for the track was an amazing deal.
I'll upload my pics when I get them processed. I can't wait to see Cyberscorpi's!!!!

when we got back to the original spot where the pre meet was me, 1flydym3, fonz and dentinger spent about 20 mins going up steeles looking for a mc donalds. took i think 115 all the way to the 404. then we saw year of the rat

Apparently he got caught in some gravel and ditched it. Poor guy, some of the surfaces weren't so hot.

O, i saw him at tracking his car after u guys left. And i walked up to look at it cuz he was selling it. I recognize that paper on his windshield. He wants $8000 for it

But a big THANK YOU to 3GFX. I was having some highway route difficulties, since they closed the oncoming ramp on the 401 due to construction. Saw 3GFX following me on hwy. 427N than ironically, while we got onto the 409 (correct me if I'm wrong) but we than emerged onto the 401, We met up with the London Crew I believe.
All in All, It was an awesome time, awesome experience, well worth the drive.

Yea that worked out well. Good thing I was stupid and took the collectors in mississauga! I had no idea the transfer was closed. I just found it hilarious that came out in front of them! Construction, figures.

+1, frikken rocks in a construction zone THAT WASNT CLEARED OF ROCKS AND GRAVEL chipped my windshield. I drove onto the contruction strip and then *bam bam bam bam*, like i was being shot but hundreds of rocks and pebble. Im pissed.....

Heh...so I ended up taking a few vids through my sunroof along the drive...and others while in my car (not easy, I'll tell you)...and I'm grabbing all the remotely interesting bits and put them as 1 long video (so no one is forced to hear the different music I had on in my car XD). I just need to find a song to put in it. but before that, here's a preview of one of the videos...which was near the end of the cruise and around the fun twisty bits

Oh, and that little "blip" of the camera moving around a lot inside the car, that was me switching from the Manual mode back to auto so I could concentrate on driving XD

Yup that would have been me DAVE hehehe 53.38, considering I left a lot on the table, my car is (sigh) automatic and was worried about the tires, I'm happy. Although my competitive side wants to drive back to the track and try again!
I managed to get into 3rd twice but it wasn't worth it, I was in second around the whole track, meaning that I just broke a 100km/h on the straights.

Heh...I was tempted to go out and try...would have been interesting...but I thought better of it. Now I regret it. Some other time perhaps.

A general mix. At the start, it was all auto...then I got to thinking, might as well play around and have some fun...so I went to manual...but sometimes I forgot to switch back when doing videos so I would be in a lower gear and reving pretty high XD

ha sit in 2nd gear going like 100 LOL. wreck your automatic car. tell mazda i dunno what happened.

Well after u guys all left, 2 cobalt ss spun out on the track. 1 of them came ever so close to pinning the wall after the turn
The track was getting slick after we left.

Alright, I finished the full video last night. These are all the "better clips" of the videos I took (minus the track stuff). I'll likely upload the pictures and track videos tomorrow. Just about to head out for the night. Enjoy.

ps, the video was made on my macbook with final cut express exported in divx so you'd need that codec. Also, easiest to just right-click and save-as the file to make it easier to view. The file size is about 35MB

Yeah. All the clips were in order of when I took them. So it went from the beginning of the cruise to the end. As you could see, with a small point & shoot camera like that, trying to drive with 1 hand especially around some of those twisty parts, it was hard to keep the camera still. Still fun though.

dave those are some awesome pictures you took. man i had soo much fun at this. the cruise was completely amazing. all the twists and turns and yea. although i have to say did they not say it would be police patrolled? i never saw one cop the whole cruise.

just a little vid i made up, kinda crappy, but the RAWR of the exhaust nodes coming off those concrete banks is incredible!
