Got the following blurb from Ian (from Ian Law Racing obviously).

"The winter school is a complete experience in itself. You will be driving on some very slick ice and mastering that can be very rewarding. If you have a enough members wanting to do this and they don't mind doing it on a Friday, I may be able to get us access to the ice racing race track if they are not working on it.

The winter school is much like the CCS in that it is all about learning how to control or regain control of your car but in very limited traction conditions.

Everyone has a riot doing it. The Figure 8 exercise on ice is a blast and we also will teach you how to do "reverse spins"."

Anyone interested? It's a "school", not a drifting event and I believe it's held up in Minden (1.5 hours north).

The Ice Racing race track sounds fun but I have no idea how many we'll need to get that (probably 15 would be my guess).

So, anyone interested?

your own
YOUR insurance should cover this because this is a driving school.
call your insurance to make sure.

NO! Never EVER tell you insurance company that you are even considering doing anything of the kind. There is a better and 50/50 chance that you'll get dropped and end up on facility as a high insurance risk.

An insured organization (like Ian Law) will have insurance that protects your for liability, but you are on your own for damage to your own car, like any track activity.
