I'm always interested in a meet... (as long as it's local :) ).

Yeah cops will be on high alert that day, but if you don't give them a reason to pull you over, more often then not they won't hassel you.

Now let me just give a quick example:
Just because you a drving at the speed limit, doesn't mean that you are minding your own business. If your ride is slammed to the ground, tints so dark that you can't see through them, have neon lights under your car, your system blasting to the point where people outside can hear......... these are all reason cops can pull you over.

Trust me... 2FAST 2 Furious was amazing at HWY 7 and 400... It was literally a car show. I think it was allowed, as there was cars in the interlocked area of the entrance.

Seeing that Street racing is getting out of hand this might not be the case.

Its a tough decision, if its safe or not to go. But afterall we have meets at paloma all the time and none of the cops hassle us one bit.

Just use common sense, and drive like you would normally do in the streets.

I'm a EBYAM on this one. But im sure if we cruized in one group they wouldn't think of anything one bit.

Can't wait for the movie. I've read some articles that set it up to be a good movie. Same director as Tokyo Drift. So despite the crap story line, we can expect some realistic cars, and car themes. No looking at the engine bay and sayin "titanium valves".

As for the 3.....not my style, but I like a lot of the elements. The rear fender flares, the molded kit. Painted headlights. Nice touches.

I cant wait for the movie, because all the old actors from original movie are back like Vin Diesel and Paul Walker and that hot chick (forgot her name:chuckle) Should be a great movie, hopefully the story line is just as great as the first one.

but no way am i gonna bring my speed there on opening night. probably just hitch a ride with my friend

for me my greatest fear is driving my car and parking it in a movie theatre lot
i hear so many horror stories from break ins to damage from bad parking jobs.
the pedestrian traffic is so bad too while ppl walk past ur cars and like kids whipping open doors

i look forward to seeing the mazda's though in the lot lol.
i'll keep an eye out if i see any punks hanging around =)

I just watched a screener copy (godbless the beauty of downloads), but ofcourse im going to watch it in theatres AND buy a copy on dvd because... well.... it's the best movie series ever?!?!

I watched "Knowing" and they put a Titanium Grey with a 2.3L Badge on the doors with the fisherman's pole atenna where "The whisper's" took 2 kids in the mom's Mazda HAHA

A few friends caught an earlier screening and said that it was really good. I guess I expected too much from it, but it did have a decent plot.

The first one (rob cohen director) had a plot and as always in sequels, there was never a movie that was better than the first. Different director for the first one, had visualized "real"street racing scenes in california..

2nd (john singleton director)was Miami, streetracing yes, but more unrealistic stunts.

3rd (justin lin director )was Drifting and plot becoming the top dawg of drifting.

4th havent seen it, but if its a reuniting of the first movie, than i would agree it would be as good as the first. Im not judging yet, but remember each movie had a different director.



If your in for the cars not plot than I would definitely see why the sequals could be better than the first..

Remember its like porn... Action not story HAHA

The plot was good, and the acting was good. Notice how I say "good", so it had the potential to be a "good" movie. But the fact that a lowered skyline 3 - 4 inches off the ground is able to jump constantly without tearing off its front bumper is BS. To many good car chases were ruined by fake movie car stunts.

My conclusion is FnF4 was just likek Need For Speed Underground. The GPS deal was silly and exactly like a video game and yes the game has car damage but its not that realistic just like FnF4.

Just because theirs good cars doesn't make it a great movie.

My rating (for true car guys):
#1 FnF3 (bad plot, great car realism 85% of the time)
#2 Prologue to FnF2 (best all around short film)
#3 FnF4 (good plot tied the other FnFs well, poor 'car' acting)
#4 FnF2 (good plot, cool rides, not so realistic)
#5 FnF1 (what started it all, but let the true car knowledgable down)
